Duties of a Bridge Interim Pastor may include:

• Preaching weekly in the church and/or during specially scheduled sessions with a message of encouragement, forgiveness and hope
• Joining the church staff temporarily to provide daily/weekly direction, leadership training, help with organizational skills and tips on effectively working with volunteers
• Advising the Pastor Search team, elders, deacons or whoever is working to replace the lead pastor
• Providing Pastoral Care for church members such as hospital visits, emergency counseling
• Conducting weddings, funerals, baptisms and other pastoral duties as needed.
